Job Description

Seeking Armed Security Captain for a Transportation Hub

This role offers a competitive pay rate of $29 per hour.

All shifts are available, and weekend availability is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Armed Security Supervisor managing over 40 personnel
  • Valid CA State Driver's License required

As an Armed Security Site Supervisor, you will oversee and ensure the delivery of top-notch services to designated clients. This role involves acting as a liaison among clients, Operations Managers, and security personnel. You will manage site staff, providing coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions within authorized limits.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is a condition of employment
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Intermediate computer skills required to utilize advanced, wireless technology at client-specific locations
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively
  • Proficient in using scheduling and billing software to generate reports for effective business management
  • Communicate staffing needs to the Operations Manager, which may involve assisting in the recruitment process
  • Ensure that security personnel receive appropriate training and support for both technical and professional development
  • Address employee grievances with assistance from the HR department
  • Capable of:
    • Working in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather
    • Lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally
    • Climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed
    • Standing or walking on diverse surfaces for extended periods
