Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Nurse is responsible for assisting with cardiac and interventional radiology procedures in the role of monitor and circulator. The primary focus is on moderate sedation. The nurse ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor and circulate during procedures
  • Provide moderate sedation
  • Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner

Requirements

  • Current WA State RN license
  • Two years of ICU/CCU experience required with focus on cardiac care
  • Experience in care of Acute MI patient desired
  • Two years of Cardiac Interventional cath lab experience preferred
  • AHA HCP (BLS for Healthcare Providers) and ACLS
  • CCRN certification would be a plus
