Lot Porter Job Description

Town CJDR is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual to fill the role of Lot Porter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring it is clean, safe, and presentable to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and Maintain the Lot: Ensure the dealership's parking lot and inventory of vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
  • Prepare Vehicles for Guests: Prepare and move vehicles for guests, ensuring they are ready for viewing.
  • Lot Checks and Inventory Management: Perform regular lot checks to ensure all vehicles are present and accounted for, and maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and inventory.
  • Vehicle Washing and Cleaning: Wash and clean vehicles regularly to maintain their appearance.
  • Shuttle Services and Customer Support: Assist with shuttle services as needed and provide excellent customer service to guests visiting the dealership.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid Washington State Driver's License or equivalent, with the ability to convert to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the sales team and customers.
