Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Service Assistant to join our team at Clements Primary School. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking, working closely with the Head of Kitchen to ensure high-quality meals are served.
  • Layout and display food for counter service, ensuring a visually appealing and safe environment.
  • Assist in the serving of meals, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
  • Collect and dispose of waste food and materials, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean the dining room and put furniture away, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all.
  • Wash-up or clean all items of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, equipment, etc., in accordance with Vertas Catering policies.
