We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse RN Adult Psych to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health program, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals suffering from emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, and supervise non-licensed nursing staff.
- Participate in treatment team conferences to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and revise care plans as needed.
- Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families, incorporating patient-centered teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of practice RN licensure
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- BLS certification
- Previous clinical experience, preferably in inpatient psychiatric settings
