Job Summary

Chicago Tube and Iron Company is a leading provider of metals distribution and fabrication services. We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our Fabrication Division in Romeoville, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts, Raymond side loaders, and overhead cranes to move materials in the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks using handling equipment and place materials in storage locations.
  • Verify material counts and inspect received materials.
Requirements
  • Good general math and measuring skills are essential.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, saws, banding, and/or order packing is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the steel distribution industry is a plus.
