Job Summary:
The Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Progressive Critical Care Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to our critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team.
- Ensure competent and compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques.
