Job Description

Stability Direct is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform x-ray duties, including fluoroscopy and operating c-arms in OR and Pain Management settings, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Administer x-rays using prescribed techniques, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, solutions, and materials for patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Clean and disinfect x-ray rooms and equipment, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Document fluoro time and schedules cases in IDX, resolving exceptions as necessary, and ensuring seamless communication with radiologists.
  • Protect patients and staff from radiation exposure by utilizing adequate Technique Factors and ALARA principles.
  • Ensure images are properly oriented, identified, and marked before transmitting them to PACS, maintaining accurate and reliable records.
  • Differentiate anatomical abnormalities and bring information to the attention of radiologists, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Compile Quality Assurance data for regulatory agency compliance, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist in making x-ray copies and performing other film library duties as needed, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Assist in training new staff members and students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain patient modesty and confidentiality, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Comply with hospital dress codes, wearing ID badges and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Demonstrate commitment to attendance standards, adhering to scheduled work hours and minimizing absences.
  • Assist and transport patients in emergency situations to designated areas, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Incorporate patient physiological and developmental age into overall care plans, ensuring personalized and effective treatment.
  • Observe hospital policies regarding fire and safety regulations, infection control standards, smoking regulations, telephone usage, and other conduct-related rules.
  • Utilize time effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet operational needs.
  • Adjust personal schedules to accommodate fluctuations in department workload, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate ability to recognize priorities and address them promptly, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Responsibilities may require adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening/weekend hours to meet operational needs, as well as on-call duties as needed.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities as required, ensuring seamless coverage and patient care.
  • Responsibilities require the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language, as well as work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Utilize hospital-provided equipment and safe work procedures, lifting objects as practicable to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform physical requirements of the job, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and balancing, to ensure effective patient care and safety.
Education Qualifications
  • Trade/Vocational School Graduate of an approved school of x-ray technology.
  • High School or equivalent.
Experience Qualifications
  • Less than 1 year Experience preferred but not necessary.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
  • CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation certification.
Work Schedule
  • Full Time
  • Evenings - M-F 2:30p-11p OR
  • Days - M - F 8:30a - 5:00pm
  • Some call may be required, 1 weekend per month may be required
