Behavioral Therapist for Children with Autism

Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Crestwood, Illinois. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week and the opportunity to collaborate with a team of 7 other BCBAs and 35 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Job Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with autism and significant behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team of BCBAs and RBTs to ensure high-quality service delivery and consistency across programs.
- Provide direct supervision, training, and support to RBTs in implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making necessary adjustments based on data and observations.
- Work closely with families to educate and support them in understanding behavioral strategies and goals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and share insights on best practices.
- Stay current with research and trends in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and implement evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with children with autism and significant behavioral needs preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning in ABA practices.
