Job Summary

This per diem Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse position is a fantastic opportunity to join UMass Memorial Health's dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare experts to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Direct and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that patients receive exceptional care.
  • Develop and implement effective discharge plans, ensuring that patients are prepared for their return home or next level of care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • A current Massachusetts RN license and registration.
  • Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
  • BLS certification is required, unless ACLS certification is also current.
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
