REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CNC MACHINING SPECIALIST:

  • Experience in CNC Woodworking
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD Drafting
  • Familiarity with CNC Programming Systems such as woodWOP or AlphaCam
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CNC MACHINING SPECIALIST:

  • Plans machining processes by analyzing work orders, blueprints, engineering specifications, materials, and machining parameters
  • Manages inventory by assessing stock levels, predicting needs, and confirming stock receipts
  • Sets tool registers, offsets, and compensations, while calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and algebra, and providing part programs
