Catholic Charities is seeking a skilled Construction Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Disaster Recovery team, you will play a critical role in helping us provide essential services to those affected by disasters.

Job Summary:

The Construction Cost Analyst will work closely with our Disaster Case Manager to review and analyze cost estimates for repairs and/or rebuilds of primary residences. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Compare and contrast estimates with contractor estimates to ensure fair and equitable treatment for clients.
  • Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with case managers and homeowners to ensure contractors meet preset criteria.
  • Inspect and document damage, and develop accurate and timely investigation and loss analysis.
  • Maintain and monitor project logs to achieve timely development of files and reports.
  • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience; previous experience in disaster recovery preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
