Empower Individuals with Disabilities as a Direct Support Specialist

Are you passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently? Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their skills through daily activities and community integration.
- Facilitate transportation and accompany individuals to appointments and activities.
- Implement personalized support strategies to enhance independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with individuals to complete housing applications and navigate government assistance programs.
- Assist with budgeting and daily necessities.
- Document daily progress notes for each shift worked.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
- Ability to drive individuals in personal cars when necessary.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and regulations.
- Availability to work at least 4 hours per day, with flexible scheduling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
