Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Synchrony Health Services, you will play a critical role in supporting pharmacy operations by measuring, mixing, and labeling medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepacking medications for floor use
  • Filling bottles with prescribed medications and affixing labels
  • Ordering, labeling, and counting stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies
  • Receiving and storing incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, and checking for outdated medications
  • Assisting with special projects as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Iowa Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
