Pharmacy Medication Specialist

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Job DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Technician at Synchrony Health Services, you will play a critical role in supporting pharmacy operations by measuring, mixing, and labeling medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepacking medications for floor use
- Filling bottles with prescribed medications and affixing labels
- Ordering, labeling, and counting stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies
- Receiving and storing incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, and checking for outdated medications
- Assisting with special projects as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience as a pharmacy technician
- Iowa Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
