Florida Cancer Affiliates is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nurse Practitioner with a focus on oncology.
This role involves collaboration with another Nurse Practitioner in local healthcare facilities, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

In this role, you will collaborate with physicians to provide care for individuals and families affected by cancer and related conditions. Care may be delivered in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, or through telemedicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Document interventions and patient responses accurately, prescribing therapies as necessary.
- Perform medical procedures following appropriate training.
- Identify patient and family needs, providing education and resources.
- Promote wellness and recommend community resources to support patient and family needs.
- Familiarize yourself with reimbursement processes and documentation standards.
- Ensure timely completion of patient charge capture and medical record documentation.
- Responsibilities may include rounding at affiliated hospitals and being available for weekend or after-hours calls.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
- Preferred experience in oncology or hematology.
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
