Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Board certification in Orthopedics (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
