Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during pediatric surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric surgery or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
