Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Netpace, Inc. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a safe and positive experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action in response to any changes or abnormalities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and document all care provided.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and transfers, and respond to any changes in patient status.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care provided, medications administered, and test results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
  • Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and best practices for Labor and Delivery care.
