Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
  • Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates with Oncology experience are preferred.
  • Candidates with 2 or more years RN experience are preferred.
  • Candidates experienced with IV's are preferred.
