Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to our patients with compassion and respect. You will communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong nursing background and excellent communication skills. You will work in various departments with adequate supervision and be willing to float to all units. We offer a convenient flexible schedule and the opportunity to work at both campuses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to patients with compassion and respect
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Work in various departments with adequate supervision
  • Float to all units as needed
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license
  • Current BLS certificate
  • ACLS & PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
  • At least one year of acute care experience/or for Critical Care Float two years critical care experience
