We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Step Down team at Emory Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients who require close monitoring and intervention.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research to provide evidence-based care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
