Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Crew Member to join our team at Detail Queen Cleaning LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by consistently cleaning homes and offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively utilize provided equipment, including vacuums and cleaning solutions, to clean customer homes.
  • Clean all surfaces in the home, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors.
  • Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Vacuum all stairs, carpet, hard surface floors, and furniture.
  • Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind.
  • Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and customers' homes.
  • Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintaining equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort, including being in uniform, dependable, and on time.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions.
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. of equipment.
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
  • Must be friendly with all types of pets.
  • Able to work within a team and solo.
  • Must be able to handle constructive criticism.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Shows up to work on time, properly dressed, and ready to work with a positive attitude.
  • We work as a team, but everyone is expected to carry their own weight.
  • Since all work is checked by the owner, constructive criticism must be received with a positive attitude.
