We are excited to present a remarkable career opportunity for a Senior Cabinet Fabricator to become a vital part of PDS Defense.

This role involves the construction of premium aircraft cabinetry utilizing a range of veneers, laminates, and composite materials, all while adhering to strict quality standards and timelines. The position also includes providing guidance and training to fellow cabinet makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train junior cabinet makers
  • Interpret and analyze customer specification documents
  • Read and understand engineering blueprints
  • Consistently work with aerospace-grade materials
  • Assemble hinge blocks into panels, set doors, drawers, and more
  • Craft hardwood bullnose and Corian countertops
  • Prepare kerf and fiberglass panels
  • Apply adhesives and epoxies to various materials
  • Construct drawers and cabinets for large installations
  • Work with veneer on final products
  • Layout and route for switches, cup holders, and inlays
  • Install inlays with precision
  • Cut materials accurately using a table saw
  • Operate CNC and Pin Router machinery
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including those for hazardous materials
  • Consistently produce high-quality products
  • Adjust work based on scheduling requirements
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall departmental cleanliness
  • Meet production targets and deadlines as established by management
  • Provide training and instruction to others
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Required tools must be acquired within six months of employment
