Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Dome Construction Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project-specific logistic plans for site staging, access, flows, safety, signage, and security.
  • Establish protocols for visitors and subcontractor mobilizations.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure compliance with required regulations.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Develop project-specific safety manuals with support from project coordinators, engineers, or managers.
  • Maintain permit documents and current construction documents at the jobsite.
  • Produce thorough daily construction reports.
  • Develop baseline project master schedules with assigned project managers.
  • Participate in estimating turnover and project kick-off meetings to understand overall project estimates.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installed work meets contractual quality requirements.
  • Participate in training sessions offered by Dome Construction, including job-specific development, presentation skills, and technical sessions.
Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of all disciplines, particularly CSA trades, to resolve challenges, conflicts, design issues, etc.
  • Appropriate knowledge of MEP disciplines for coordination and verification of MEP installation progress.
  • Ability to read and understand all plans and specifications for each trade and enforce sub compliance.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Office.

The expected base salary range for this position is $120,000-$153,000. This does not include other benefits such as health, disability, life, retirement, or other benefits that may impact total compensation. The actual base salary offer will be carefully evaluated based on a range of factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and location, among other factors. This range is subject to future modification.
