As a Per Diem Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patients' physical therapy needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs, including conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality patient care, including physical therapy interventions, education, and support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a minimum of 5 years of experience for Clinical Specialist and 10 years of experience for Advanced Clinical Specialist.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
