Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Cleveland Area Hospital Inc is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients. This includes implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans to address those needs.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobilization as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of rehabilitation services.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
