Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or multistate licensure.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • New graduates eligible.
  • Advanced certification in orthopedic nursing or related specialty preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
