Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator CC - Emergency Room to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the emergency department during their designated shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the emergency department, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as implementing courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing /or RN Diploma - Required
- Bachelors Degree - Preferred
- Registered Nursing License in the State of Nevada - Required
