Job Description

The Wildland Fire Management Specialist will play a critical role in our fire management program, ensuring that fires are safely and effectively managed. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing oversight during initial and extended attack fires
  • Directing fire line activities and tactics
  • Planning and adjusting the work of subordinate employees
  • Developing and maintaining overall fire management plans
