Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Full-Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure full-stack applications on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy or utilities industries and a minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Azure architecture and services, as well as expertise in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, and proficiency in HTML/CSS. They will also have extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core, and a strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure full-stack applications on the Azure platform, utilizing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead the implementation of best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, documentation, and version control.
  • Utilize modern front-end frameworks and libraries to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using .NET Core, and other relevant technologies.
  • Leverage Azure PaaS services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps for application development and deployment.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the energy and utilities industry, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology for business innovation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Proven experience working with Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings and a deep understanding of Azure architecture and services.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, and proficiency in HTML/CSS.
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core, and other relevant technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the energy or utilities industry, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges and regulations.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

$120,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
