The Underwriting Specialist manages key relationships and reviews complex transactions for key targeted Trade Credit brokers/markets/industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and manage a book of business composed of renewals, new business, and manage day to day operations.
  • Drive underwriting excellence establishing and ensuring adherence to risk appetite, line setting (where appropriate), standards and guidelines, and ensure rating and pricing adequacy aligned with regional guidance.
  • Lead and expand relationships with brokers and clients in North America to grow the business units book of trade credit business.
  • Executing on a structured commercial strategy aiming at identifying new business opportunities with broker partners and clients.
  • Underwriting large/complex new credit insurance submissions and negotiating policy terms and conditions.

For positions based in New York City, the base salary range is $91,000 - $111,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
