Student Speech and Language Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school team.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and promoting language development. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to provide direct therapy services and monitor progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students with varying levels of need.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of personalized learning plans.
  • Evaluate the communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified communication deficits.
  • Offer training and support to teachers on classroom communication strategies.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP License in good standing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Position:

This is a full-time Grades K-12 position offering a Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our supportive and collaborative school environment provides opportunities for growth and professional development.
