A collaborative professional, you will contribute to a positive and unified work atmosphere within the service line and related departments. Your adaptability and responsiveness to the feedback from cardiologists will be essential, showcasing your thorough understanding of echocardiography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill the expectations of the relevant competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Conduct routine echocardiograms to assess potential abnormal heart conditions or diseases.
- Assist medical professionals with transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Perform stress echocardiograms to investigate coronary artery disease.
- Communicate daily with physicians regarding exam interpretations and check weekly for necessary supplies.
- Exhibit competence in executing assigned patient care responsibilities, catering to the age-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department.
- Adapt assessment, treatment, and service methods appropriately to meet the age-specific or other developmental needs of patients.
- Demonstrate commitment to the core values of our organization.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program or an equivalent recognized institution.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the Cardiology sector.
- Proficient in stress testing.
- Current BLS certification.
Compensation: Based on experience, ranging from $34 to $47 per hour.
