Role: Java Developer with Cloud Expertise

Location: Remote/Onsite

Salary: Market Rate

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and related technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Architect and implement secure and efficient RESTful APIs and microservices.
  4. Integrate CICD pipelines and automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  5. Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  1. BS degree with 5-12 years of experience in coding, testing, and monitoring; master's degree is preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a Java Developer or Software Engineer with a focus on building enterprise-level applications.
  3. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and related frameworks and libraries.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud, including deployment and scalability considerations.
  5. Solid understanding of CICD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CICD, or similar.
  6. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
  7. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  10. Knowledge of observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CFRT and Decision Engine Experience.
