Position Overview

This role involves overseeing the administrative aspects of the assigned program while functioning as an educator, consultant, and administrator. The incumbent will engage in complex leadership and administrative tasks that impact healthcare policies and organizational missions.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) Risk Manager will:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with medical center personnel, patients, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage an integrated Risk Management Program that spans across various services and disciplines.
  • Ensure accountability for documented outcomes at the program, service, and facility levels.
  • Utilize management theories in collaboration with executive leadership to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Demonstrate innovative approaches to managing complex patient care issues.
