Healthcare Support Specialist

Cape Cod Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and families.
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
**Job Description:**
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing excellent patient care and support, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility
- Transporting patients via wheelchairs and stretchers
- Assisting with vital signs, oxygen saturation, weights, and non-invasive specimen collection
- Turning and positioning patients, range of motion, ambulation, and toiletry
- Setting up, assisting and educating patients with commodes, bedpans, urinals, sitz baths, walkers, wheelchairs, slings, venodyne boots, crutches, and specific precautions
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- BLS Certification upon completion of the Apprenticeship Program or Will-Train program
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program, Medical Assistant Program, EMT Program, LPN Program, or equivalent clinical Military experience
