Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing procurement functions to meet the company's product inventory needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
  • Negotiate quotes with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Work with finance and vendors to ensure timely payment and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years' purchasing experience required; foodservice distribution experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
