Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our core product team, where you will play a critical role in shaping the future of situational awareness capabilities for our customers. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage cutting-edge technology to process petabytes of data and extract valuable insights, providing a rich, live view of objects on land, sea, and sky.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Data Solutions: Consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse 'big data' sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
  • Develop and Refine Machine Learning Models: Utilize state-of-the-art approaches to develop, refine, deploy, and support statistical and machine learning models.
  • Communicate Insights and Findings: Effectively communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
  • Recommend Solutions: Recommend solutions to moderately complex technical and procedure issues.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify opportunities for product and customer process improvement using statistical and machine learning models.
  • Develop and Deploy Data Visualization: Create and deploy data visualization to communicate moderately complex concepts and data in a simple, actionable manner.
  • Interact with Product and Service Teams: Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
  • Document Findings: Document findings for business stakeholders as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Clearance: Willing to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Must have a general understanding of data science concepts, principles, and theory and demonstrate the ability to follow and apply the use of programming and analysis concepts.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Machine Learning Libraries: Familiarity with common machine learning libraries for implementation (sklearn, weka, tensorflow, torch, etc).
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more of: Python, Scala, Java, R, Julia, Matlab.
  • Geospatial Data and Analytics: Experience with geospatial data and analytics.
  • Kalman Filtering: Experience with Kalman Filtering.
  • Intelligence Community and DoD Mission Sets: Familiarity with Intelligence Community and DoD mission sets.
