CNC Machinist and Programmer

CNC Programmer and Operator Job Description

This role requires a skilled individual to program, set up, and operate CNC machines for steel mold manufacturing. The successful candidate will write and edit programs, as well as program at the controls. Additionally, they will be responsible for setting up Fadal CNC machines, performing edits and changeovers as needed for production. The CNC Programmer and Operator will also operate the machines in production to produce a quality, finished product that meets customer specifications. Visual inspection of the product is a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and edit CNC programs for steel mold manufacturing
• Set up and operate Fadal CNC machines
• Perform edits and changeovers as needed for production
• Operate CNC machines in production to produce high-quality products
• Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality and accuracy

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Westville, New Jersey. The work environment is a family-run business with a laid-back atmosphere, AC in the shop, and a well-lit and fairly clean machine shop. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM.
