We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at DHD Consulting. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a critical role in providing project cost estimating services during all phases of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cost estimates from the initiating phase to project close-out for all assigned projects and disciplines.
- Negotiate design modifications and construction change orders with contractors.
- Review contractor and consultant cost proposals.
- Collaborate with project engineering to develop and refine integrated master schedules.
- Support project managers in planning projects, resolving issues, and providing cost quality.
- Establish estimating cost standards formats to ensure program consistency and cost quality.
- Support new functions and requirements as a result of risk analysis workshops, such as contingency management and cost risk management.
- Document all basis of estimates and estimate revisions.
- Utilize document control to archive current and historical estimates and supporting data.
- Support cost database development, management, and maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least ten years of relevant experience.
- Experience in airport construction projects is desired.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Certified Estimating Professional.
We offer a competitive salary range of up to $195,000.
