Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Field Supervisor to join our team at Mechanical One. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HVAC activities on our new construction residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee HVAC activities on new construction residential projects
  • Administer company standard operating procedures to ensure a fully functional HVAC system per code
  • Ensure quality and customer satisfaction throughout the construction process
  • Manage quality and code compliance through job site team
  • Perform daily verification of install per design with inspections, create punch lists
  • Manage work scope, piece rate and hourly reporting
  • Timely communication of change order needs to customer
  • Provide details for production team to clarify job site needs and document job site activities and communication
  • Proactively improve crew efficiency through job readiness checks
  • Effectively communicate with builder and customer representatives; punctually attend meetings as required
  • Set expectations for quality and productivity needs with crews
  • Proactively ensure job site safety
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of previous new construction residential and/or commercial construction experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC installation and technical aspects of trade
  • Strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Bilingual is a plus
