Job Summary

Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in the Cath Lab department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and imaging services
Requirements
  • RT(R)(ARRRT) certification
  • Current NM license
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field
  • ACLS and BLS certification
Work Schedule
  • 4x10 hour shifts, 06:00 - 16:30
  • Weekend call requirement: two weekends per month, with varying shifts during the week
