Position Overview
Ensemble Performing Arts is in search of a dedicated, skilled, and engaging percussion and keyboard instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves teaching at various locations, providing a unique opportunity to connect with students in their own environments.
Instructors have the flexibility to establish their schedules within our operational hours. However, consistency is valued by both students and staff, so preference will be given to candidates who can offer more availability. A reliable mode of transportation is essential, as lessons will be conducted in students' homes.
Ideal candidates will possess a solid musical foundation, demonstrated through a degree in performance or equivalent experience, a passion for teaching, and a history of working with young musicians. Punctuality, dependable transportation, and the ability to pass a standard background check are also required.
Compensation for instructors ranges from $30 to $32 per hour.
About Ensemble Performing Arts
Ensemble Performing Arts is a collaborative network of community-focused music and dance institutions that maintain their unique identities while sharing resources to foster mutual growth and success.
This position is specifically for our music instruction program, which offers lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, and other instruments to students aged six and older, accommodating all skill levels from beginner to advanced. We also welcome adult learners.
