Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Woodlawn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. As an LPN, you will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor resident's vital signs and record them in their file
  • Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each resident, including bathing, feeding, and dressing
  • Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
  • Update resident records in a confidential manner
  • Evaluate the resident's wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
  • Explain treatments and procedures to residents and families
  • Change dressings and bandages, ensuring residents are healing properly
  • Move residents from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Currently licensed as an LPN in Maine
