Job Summary

STERIS is seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to join our team. As an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for testing, observing, and documenting corrective actions for finished products. You will also perform assembly and wiring tasks, receiving coaching and training from a Lead Tester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect units to test benches and perform manual and visual inspections to ensure specifications meet customer orders.
  • Run operating cycles and tests to confirm units operate according to standards, making necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality systems departments to develop protocols and inspection sheets.
  • Define problems and work with others to resolve them.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience working with electrical, pneumatics, and testing equipment
  • Intermediate knowledge of voltage testing and pneumatics
  • Ability to read schematics and apply problem-solving techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in STERIS equipment testing or similar equipment
