The San Luis Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cosmetologist to join our team. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their spa experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Hair Services:**
- Perform various types of haircuts, color, and styles, staying up-to-date with current trends and techniques.
- Provide high-quality hair services, including cuts, colors, and styles, to meet the needs of our discerning guests.
- **Nail Services:**
- Offer current, quality professional nail services, including manicures and pedicures, and stay proficient in all current trends and techniques.
- Provide exceptional nail care services, ensuring our guests leave feeling pampered and relaxed.
- **Facility Maintenance:**
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities, ensuring they are always in proper working order.
- Ensure that all facilities and amenities are well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
- **Guest Services:**
- Provide spa tours as needed, showcasing the amenities and services offered by our spa.
- Assist with front desk or locker room functions, as necessary, to ensure seamless guest service.
- **Product Sales:**
- Promote and sell Spa-approved products, ensuring our guests have access to the best products for their skin and hair care needs.
- **Administrative Tasks:**
- Check appointment schedules and print daily activities as required.
- Complete daily reports, providing valuable insights into spa operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- **Professional Development:**
- Maintain passing scores on treatment inspections, ensuring our spa meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Maintain current license and certifications as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
**Requirements:**
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1000 hours of education in cosmetology.
- License or certification from an accredited school of cosmetology required.
- Fulfillment of current State licensing requirements.
- Two years of experience in cosmetology preferred.
- One year of spa experience preferred.
- Knowledge of additional skills in cosmetology preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- CPR Certification preferred.
