Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurology Veterinary Technician to join our team at BluePearl Pet Hospital. As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up constant rate infusions (CRI) and calculate medical math, including advanced and CRI calculations
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia, as well as set up for MRI and CT procedures
- Discharge neuro patients from the hospital, including basic client education on manual bladder expression, sling walking, range of motion, and other essential care
- Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values
- Perform call backs and refill medications, as well as client education and gathering histories
- Perform physical exams, accurately count vital signs, and understand normal vital parameters
- Comfortable with IVC placement and venipuncture, and operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps
