Position Overview:
As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly operations of printed circuit boards and box build assemblies, along with various mechanical tasks as directed by the Mechanical Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include:
- Assembling PCA according to processing documentation.
- Reviewing engineering documents for any specific requirements.
- Ensuring assembly of PCA meets IPC-610 and J-STD0001 workmanship standards.
- Collaborating closely with the Mechanical Lead to address any issues.
- Possibly performing machine or hand potting of PCA using epoxy compounds.
- Conducting conformal coating on PCB/PCA.
- Engaging in assembly tasks involving cables.
- Participating in company training sessions focused on employee development.
- Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety regulations.
- Executing other reasonable duties as assigned.
Working Hours:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills:
You should possess a working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485, along with the ability to build cable and wire harness assemblies to IPC-620 standards.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must:
- Be capable of constructing box build assemblies or related PCA to IPC 610/JSTD-001 standards.
- Be able to read and interpret industry standards, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Work safely with mechanical and hand tools involved in box build assemblies/PCA.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Exhibit strong math and computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize an ERP system.
- Show determination to follow through until satisfactory resolutions are achieved.
- Effectively use all hand tools required for PCA assembly (e.g., screwdrivers).
- Identify critical points of assembly.
- Follow work instructions and management directives.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Learn through shadowing and following documented procedures.
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of related assembly experience is required.
