Endocrinology Opportunity at UPMC Central Pa

UPMC Central Pa, a leading health care system in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join its successful practice. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis, and menopause issues in the outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone consults for inpatient nurse practitioners
  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art technology for treating thyroid diseases
  • Collaborate with the infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
  • Lead osteoporosis and fracture prevention programs
  • Pursue opportunities for clinical research

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
  • Endocrinology Fellowship
  • Eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Team-oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care
