Job Title: CT Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography scans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
  • ARRT eligibility and some scanning experience.
  • Able to complete most CT procedures.
  • ARRT Registered.
Working Conditions:

May be exposed to life-threatening diseases. Ability to adjust hours with minimal notice as required. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to view small CRT screens. Ability to work odd hours. Ability to respond to emergency calls. Ability to lift and/or move patients. Ability to work under stressful conditions. Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week. Ability to stand, bend, and/or stoop for extended periods of time.
